FAQs

Answers to common questions

Questions about programs, safety, or getting started? You’re in the right place.

What is SPIRIT Club?

SPIRIT Club is a fitness community built for every body. Whether you're managing a disability, recovering from injury, navigating aging, or simply want a gym that feels welcoming, we offer group training, personal training, and virtual programs in an environment that's supportive, social, and genuinely fun.

Do participants need prior gym or fitness experience?

No experience is required. Programs are designed to meet people where they are. Exercises can be scaled, modified, or adapted so each participant can participate safely and confidently.

What types of programs do you offer?

We offer group training, personal training, and virtual programs. Group sessions focus on movement, strength, coordination, and social connection. Personal training provides one-on-one support with individualized goals. Virtual programs allow members to participate from home.

Is SPIRIT Club safe?

Safety is a top priority. Sessions are structured, supervised, and designed with clear boundaries and predictable routines. Trainers closely monitor participants and adjust activities as needed.

Do you offer a free trial or first session?

Yes. New members can book a free session to experience SPIRIT Club before committing. This helps ensure it’s a good fit for the participant and their family.

Who is SPIRIT Club for?

SPIRIT Club is for anyone who wants a fitness experience that actually fits their life. That includes people with physical or developmental disabilities, those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, or other major health event, individuals managing mental health challenges, seniors navigating aging or age-related conditions, people who feel intimidated by traditional gyms, total beginners, and anyone who believes fitness should be about community, not competition.

Are your trainers trained to work with people with disabilities?

Yes. Our trainers are trained to work with a wide range of abilities and learning styles. They focus on clear communication, patience, safety, and encouragement—so every participant feels supported and understood.

What happens in a typical group session?

Sessions usually include a warm-up, strength or movement-based exercises, games or challenges, and a cool-down. The structure stays consistent so participants feel comfortable, while exercises vary to keep things engaging.

Can parents or caregivers stay during sessions?

Yes. Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay, observe, or participate if appropriate. We work closely with families to make sure everyone feels comfortable.

Where is SPIRIT Club located?

SPIRIT Club has multiple locations, with additional expansions underway. You can find the nearest location on our Locations page or book a free session to get started.
