María, a former Argentine national athlete with a degree in Physical Education, is passionate about making fitness fun, inclusive, and empowering for people of all abilities.

Hi! I’m María, from Corrientes, Argentina — the capital of carnival, mate, and chamamé! I came to the U.S. in 2022 with just one suitcase and a heart full of dreams, many of which I’m grateful to say have come true. After playing various sports and being part of Argentina’s national cestoball team, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in fitness. That passion led me to earn my Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. During my residency year back home, I had the incredible opportunity to work at a fitness center for individuals who are blind, and I also earned certifications in areas such as wheelchair basketball coaching. These experiences deepened my commitment to inclusive fitness for people of all abilities. Through prayer and faith, God placed me at SPIRIT Club — and from day one, it has felt like home. I love working here and I’m proud to be part of a team that celebrates diversity and promotes accessibility for people of all abilities. I’m passionate about helping others reach their goals, and I believe fitness should be fun, inclusive, and empowering. I’m a big dreamer, so when I hear our members' goals, they become my mission. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me at church, out hiking, doing photography, exploring antique stores, or discovering new coffee shops — I’m rarely at home (lol)! Let’s work together and have fun along the way!
