I am passionate about inclusive fitness, driven by my sister’s inspiration and a strong belief in “Fitness For All,” and I am also trained in Aikido and stage combat
My name is Mimi, and I am a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer. My love for fitness came from being in high school sports, including softball, track and field, and cross country. That experience allowed me to have discipline in my own training, and motivated me to help others do the same. My sister has mild intellectual disability, and I would always take her with me to the gym or we would do at-home workouts. My sister inspires me every day, and she's the reason I believe that everyone deserves to live a healthy life. When I found SPIRIT Club and read their mission, I instantly felt connected to what they stood for and felt that my values were aligned with their statement "Fitness For All." My goal is to strive for inclusivity, create a fun, positive environment, and make it about progress, not perfection. In addition to Personal Training, I also practice Aikido and perform stage combat.
